    I'm wondering if Carson's fears - having BOTH Dr. Daniel Jackson and Dr. Rodney McKay on the same planet on the same mission under a severe time crunch against juggernat overlord aliens - were well founded or not.

    Wait, it wasn't Jackson or McKay that needed the good Doc's services, but the local inhabitants.

    Oh, we get a visit from THE NOX.
    And OF COURSE Daniel Jackson recognizes them.
    (Even though its been ten years, hundreds of missions, several deaths, and much much more).
    Steve, you really shouldn't knock your feeling of eyes on you. (on the other hand, this group of invisible travelers mean no harm).

    So, Daniel is willing to give up some of his precious chocolate, but not his coffee? Well, it worked as a bribe. (and who says Rodney ASKED? He didn't when he pilfered from Sam Carter's stash way back when, during his first foray as a technological ADVISOR early in the program).
