    Theo is excellent match because whoring, drinking and arrogance was tortured out of him. Only thing that he has going on is his father who do not care if he lives or dies.

      So Sansa would be taking a gamble that she could stop him from becoming too arrogant, stop him whoring and bring him into the fold as an accepted member of the fam, instead of a an outsider pushed away at crucial moments so that he will choose to defend House Stark at the vital moments.

      I think Theon has a lot more value than his father's status, and the Starks failure to recognize that is part of why he betrayed them in the first place :/
