Ah. Cheating. I agree, it's a hard one to explain and understand. I generally think there is a lot of insecurity underneath it all...like not wanting to end the relationship outright because there is a chance of ending up alone or it feels like failure or something. I don't think I fully get it...but I do get the hurt and deep distrust that comes with it.
I'm glad you liked this chapter and the conversations they had here. More of that to come!
