   That last section gave me such a big grin. I know everyone loves to write pre-CATWS Steve as depressed and lovely, but I really appreciate that you didn't go down that road. (Not just because variety is good. Also because it feels right for this particular story and it's written so well.)

      I'm glad you liked it -- I really wanted to go for a more Wholesome and Feelgood version of Sadsack Steeb vs the 21st century, because it just felt like he wasn't the kind of guy to stay down for too, too long.
