    I’m just on the first chapter so I’m not sure where this fic will go but may I just say I love th e way you write! Descriptive but not boring and just the right amount of info to encourage the reader’s imagination. That and the whole premise of Trickster Goro and Detective Akira were what made me check this out. I’m excited to read more!

    P.S. The Naoto dream is so cute. Makoto and Goro interactions give me life. The conversation between Ryuji and Goro was well done and in character. I’m just wondering why Goro would also have a prison for a velvet room since his circumstances are different from Pego in the original story but that’s just a minor concern. Eh sorry for rambling.

      Thank you for picking up this story! It's going to be a wild ride from now on :D AND YES I LOVE THAT FANART GORO LOOKS SO CUTE

      I just had Goro use the same Velvet Room as Akira since I wanted a mostly plain role reversal fic and I didn't know where I was taking this fic when I first wrote it. Plus, I do think the prison fits Goro thematically, since his existence as an orphan living in an institution means he's been condemned by society for a long time, and coming to Tokyo and trying to reinvent himself is part of his "rehabilitation". Of course, as in canon we know it's not that simple, but for now hehehe....
