Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the first bit at least! I'd say that most people are intimidated by the Asgard/Asgardian thing that you inevitably have to deal with, but I've seen people try to mash some really out-there crossovers together so I doubt that's it. Oh well, it gives me the opportunity to do something different. :)
Lol, that's what holograms are for! Actually I'm sort of thinking there were genetic experiments involved. I haven't entirely decided how I'm going to explain it in this story, although I have an idea. I'll figure out something more concrete once I get to the part where I have to write it, which likely won't be until Act 3, so I've got some time yet.
Maybe they're like the creepy Uncle no one talks about? The one Thor was named for but is never invited to the family reunions.
On a more serious note there are a lot of weird artifacts floating around the Avengers universe, adverse side effects could definitely cause something like an asgardian. Either when they were making the artifact, using it, or it being used against them. Good luck. Can't wait for the next chapter.
