GAH. So exciting, so awesome. I love that it started off from Bruce's POV, even though it's Steve with the Groundhog Day problem. So much of this was so good, all of Steve's running exposition, all the explanations, right down to the line "Maybe the entire world had switched genres, and somehow he'd missed it.' That is such perfection, and a hilarious, angsty and PERFECT way to describe the crazyness of this universe they all live in. I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL YOU UPDATE. Poor Steve. The guy must just lose it, on some of those days. Guh. Not to mention *Bruce* losing it, LOL. Any number of things could go wrong, and it could be awful or hilarious. Have you ever seen that one Supernatural episode where I think Sam is stuck in a time loop? And Dean dies every day? It ends up becoming entirely hilarious, some of the ways he dies. But Steve, at least this far, we don't know what the point of his repeated day is (where Sam's was to force him to watch Dean die over and over). Guh. Anyway, UPDATE AS SOON AS YOU CAN, because I am INTENSELY excited to read more. :D
haha. I'm glad the genre joke worked for you. It was cheap, but I couldn't resist.
I LOVE THAT EP OF SUPERNATURAL. I love all time loops, but that one was the best. My favorite thing about it was how it took the trope and made it different--which was why this is Bruce's POV. I wanted to use the trope and give it a twist, so that was one part of it.
So glad you like it. I actually have a lot of this fic written; I'm just trying to finish it so that it can all be posted in a timely fashion. Thank you!
