Watching Thor's hope dwindle is a little painful, especially knowing that his goal to get Loki home and he can't do that when the Jotnar are so mistrusted. I think he thinks his people's prejudices can be changed as quickly as his were which is sweet but also so sad because he's being unrealistic. Still, I am very fond of optimistic Thor and how steadfast he is in wanting to change things.
It was also really interesting to get things from Tony's POV this chapter, I especially liked his reasoning behind deleting the files. Very similar to Loki's wish to keep things private.
Change takes time, and thousands of year of discrimination can't disappear overnight, as much as we wish it would :/ But at least Thor will keep trying to change things, even if it's slow, and his allies are few.
I think this my first Tony POV chapter? Anyway, it was fun writing a much snarkier, casual character than what I'm used to. And Tony knows all about PTSD, and things he'd rather only the people closest to him hear, rather than all of SHIELD in its impersonal-ness.
