    I think Tim saw a Talon. That’s my hypothesis, that somehow the Drakes got involved with the court of owls and when they didn’t accomplish the task that the Court hadn’t given them, they killed them and Tim managed to escape because the Court had ordered his parents death and not Tim.

    Or maybe I’m just overthinking and it was Bruce or someone’s of the Bats stalking them.
