Another situation where humanity does more harm than good, even if they believe it‘s going to make things better. I am eager to see how they are going to pull this off, without ruining the whole internet.... filters are ridiculous, they are not humans that can think and decide individually ....
This is going to be a big big mess.... and even if piracy gets a bit less, preventing fans from doing what fans usually do is not going to end well, not just for the people, but for all the copyright holders. A simple example: I did not like ff15 that much, I was not going to spend any money on the dlcs... but then I discovered some amazing fanfics, theories and fanart, that caused me to completely get obsessed with the characters. I am now going to buy every single dlc that they throw out.... and this has happened to me multiple times. without fans and their creations i would probably have a lot more money, but the companies less. Yes, I am just one single person, but I am sure a lot of fans feel this way. fanworks are a blessing for the copyright holders in my opinion... but things might change... maybe... we will see... but in the end, the fans have to fight... in 2018 we have fight for freedom of creativity, for freedom of speech... it’s disgusting......... Wow ... that got out of hand quick... sorry
