    Hi there! I'm glad you found this story! I am glad you like so much about this story. I will give you some insight. The way I see it, Mac and Veronica, while great friends in the show, didn't really connect until their senior year, the year I'm using and moved Veronica away. I'm not saying they aren't friendly to one another, but they aren't the BFFs we know. They don't find Vincent together. They don't go to the Alterna-Prom together. They only have Season 1's interaction, which wasn't that much. Other reasons are this already has so many characters and it's about V in Capeside. But, Mac will make some sort of appearance in this at some point.

    I'm debating how much to spoil and how much to leave to the story when it comes to your other concerns. Logan broke up with Veronica so he wouldn't be tempted to cheat on her since they aren't together. Logan is a very sexual, loving guy who isn't prepared to go without any romantic/sexual interaction for a whole school year. I will say that they both love the other very much and you should probably keep reading.

    Like I said, this is a story about V being in Capeside. Personally, I couldn't think of a logical reason for Logan to be there with her. Troy, however, makes sense, if I stretch canon a bit. I really like Keith/Gail too, as well as Veronica with everyone in Capeside. Jen's personality and background was something Veronica understood immediately. She's kinda the female Logan, toned down of course.
