    I don't have to suspend any disbelief. I'm saying that unconsciously we all seem to gravitate towards the same types of situations, even when writing baby FitzSimmons at college :-) and I see that in your fic too, and I think it's kind of nice, that as a fandom, we've sort of quietly agreed on a bunch of stuff. It makes me feel better about the fact that, even though already my Academy fic no longer works in canon because of the deleted scene, it works in the sort of "unofficial canon" that we've built up in the FS shipper community. :-D Eh, ignore me, it's super late and I'm sick and I'm rambly.
