        And I'm afraid I have to apologize. I discovered your fics for the first time a few days ago (stumbled onto Linked somehow and have been bingeing then all since) and while I love them all, this was my first comment. I'm honestly terrible at leaving comments but I've enjoyed your fics so much I felt the need to do so.

        Your stories are so well written, it's easy to lose oneself in them. And while they have all been extremely enjoyable, this Daxamite Kara AU has been my favorite for some reason. And I couldn't help but try to imagine how it would continue through the invasion.

        And I've loved this first chapter and can't wait to read more.

          Nothing to be sorry for. Personally I'm terrible at like realizing which fics are written by the same author? So I'll like finally click to their works written page and have a moment when I go 'I've already read everything they've written....huh...did not know they wrote all these fics I liked.' And hey, LInked was a good time..which jesus I need to finish that.

          I like the Daxamite Kara idea because it lets me write a Kara who hasn't adjusted to earth yet. So she hasn't be forced to repress everything, and she's not as horrifically overpowered. Yeah she's still got powers but its not quite the same. Essentially its a lot more genuine version of a character I love. Not that she isn't genuine in cannon, its just she's repressed as fuck.
