    I am really liking the story so far!
    I like the way you develop your characters, they are all feel quite realistic.
    I am also super happy about the genderfluid character (being genderfluid myself) :) It's hard to find characters with non-binary gender ( and I was surprised you didn't have contact with enby* people, you write this trait of Shou very well.)
    (If you ever find yourself with questions about gender-fluidity that you can't find the answers yourself, I would be more than happy to answer them for you )

    *enby: non-binary gender (abbreviation of non-binary)

      Awww, thank you! I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the book thus far!

      Is Shou a good reflection of a genderfluid person? I was slightly worried, but the only thing that makes writing them different from writing any other character is their changing pronouns and that more happens without any conscious decision from me. If Shou is being written well, I might try to write another genderfluid character (especially as Shou becomes less of a major character as the series moves forward).

        yes, I do think you're writing shou very well! ( I especially like that you haven't made their genderfluidity their only defining trait, as some writers tend to do when writing diverse characters)

        I'll love to answer any of your questions in the future and I apologise beforehand about any english mistakes and/or very weird words that I tend to invent when converting my native language into english

          I definitely see Shou’s genderfluidity as an aspect of Shou rather than what makes Shou who they are. Whenever I’m working on a character, especially if it’s something that has to do with representation, I try to make sure that the characteristic (whatever it is) doesn’t define the character because they are more than a single aspect.

          I think I’ve found another spot for a genderfluid character. I’ve got plans for a character that has yet to be created beyond their position and their actions in the future plot.

          Is there anything else you’d want to see written? Either with regards to Shou or just in general?

          Also, don’t worry too much about your English! I can always ask if I’m confused, and I’ll probably understand what you’re trying to say. Your English seems perfectly fine so far - and English is an extremely difficult language so kudos to you for learning it!

            By what i've noticed you seem a very responsible (I don't know if thats the right word) writer, it would be amazing if all writers made the effort to include diversity in their writing the way you are doing (seamlessly (? again I don't know the word)). anyways, i'm trying to compliment you

            I don't really wan't to tell you how to write ?, I mean, its your writing, you should decide what you want to write. but if you want the "list of diverse character traits I never see" I can give you that. It would include other non-binary* (*neither man nor woman by standarts derived from europpean traddition, reffers to gender only (not biological sex)) genders like agender (no gender) or bigender ( two genders at the same time, commonly girl and boy but could be others), maybe asexual (feel no sexual attraction but some do feel romantic attraction) characters? I mean, theres so much diversity and so much possibility (The list is enourmous, but I was beggining to ramble soo I cut it short, but I can write an actual list if you want).
            but again, your story is yours, I don't want to dictate it. I don't want you to feel pressured to do something you don't want to

            It's great you can understand me! Sometimes I find it hard to express my feelings in a language i'm not used to having normal conversations in.

              Thank you for the compliment! I understand what you're saying, regardless of whether your words are correct or not (I mean, I'm not entirely sure and I've never spoken any other language; English is very hard).

              I would love a list of diverse character traits. In regards to telling me what to write, I won't necessarily write anything, but I might end up writing something from it - either as an add-on or just a random bit of what could be.

              Also, if you want to ramble - please do! I'd enjoy reading it regardless.

              Do you think you could explain the difference between nonbinary or agender?

              Also, I now headcanon Haku as bigender - it just fits so well? Although, I'm not entirely sure how well I'll be able to show it, simply because Haku and Zabuza aren't in this too much currently (that said, I think I have some ideas on what I could do).

              Asexual is fairly easy to include, and Toru is already aromantic and asexual (because I really wanted some representation myself), but asexual without being aromantic is something I didn't think to include - and I would actually quite like to include it! I already have a few ideas of what I could do for it.

              Expressing your feelings in any language is hard - especially so for English (I'd imagine). You're doing really well though! Congratulations on learning English, it's hard for native English speakers.

                It was actually very fun learning english; I agree english is hard, but It looks kind of tame when compared to my native language, At least your verbs don't change depending on who's doing the action :) (they say that in brazillian portuguese, there are rules with exceptions that have exceptions)
