    I’ve always enjoyed your stories.

    An idea: I’m a learning disabled women who grew up during a time before learn disabilities were understood. I was called mentally retarded by a college professor. I think I’ve always pictured Mikey like me. Could you do a story about Donnie discovering that Mikey has a learning disability? Thanks!

      Sure! Have you already read my series "Mikey The Lifegiver" and "The Sunshine Child"? I'm autistic and ADHD, so I wrote 2012 Mikey that way with Donnie learning about it. Did you want yours from a different universe like 2003?

        Yes. I’ve read all those stories. I love how you portray Mikey. So often his character is dismissed as stupid or silly. It saddens me. I personally think that he is the most brilliant of them all. His emotional intelligence is the one thing that all the versions share. Some more than others. Hummerhouse wrote a story about him losing his Nexius trophy that brought tears to my eyes.

        Regarding which universe, I will admit the the 2003 version is my favorite.

          Sweet. I can absolutely do a 2003 story. So my next question is this: 2003 Splinter never seemed to know much about human divergence, let alone learning disabilities. Do you want the story set in a particular season, or should their human friends help out, or should Donatello do the research all on his own with their limited resources? I'm thinking that he's the only one of the family who would take Mikey's disabilities seriously enough. Splinter might assume it could be fixed with training and meditation.
