Oh, their kitchen is so much like my own. I baked most of yesterday afternoon and have one more batch to turn out today. Flour was everywhere! Poor determined Aramis - he needs a new definition of "making cookies from scratch". He's so delightfully enthusiastic attempting to recreate his "ancient family recipe". The fact that he managed to blackmail Athos into becoming his assistant speaks volumes for his charm! Even the Grumpycat can't resist those pleading eyes. Loved it. His friends endure a lot, but he's too adorable to turn down. Thank goodness Porthos had the foresight - or just good luck - to come home via their favorite bakery. All is not lost and they can cuddle on the couch enjoying cookies and red wine with Rudolph. Yes, I loved this.
I would love to know exactly how Aramis got Athos to be his cookie assistant. Perhaps I ought to write a prequel to this one! Poor baby though, his cookies turned out terrible. Bless Porthos for coming home prepared! Cookies and red wine sounds like a damn fine combination, especially if Rudolph is involved. Ahh, i miss Christmas cookies!
