Comment on This Is a Mad Boy

  1. I’m currently literally so obsessed with your writing and I couldn’t NOT leave a comment. I think I first read Time Shifting Weight a couple months ago and I just reread it and fell in love all over again. And then I jumped to this one because I’m always ready for some good angst.

That said, I just LOVE your writing so much. It’s so raw and beautiful and I feel so much of what Peter feels because of how vivid your words are. I’m so excited for the rest of this fic and to see where you go with it. Your characterizations are so spot-on and wow wow wow. A definite favorite, thank you so much for writing and sharing!!

    1. omg hi hello?? im ? love with YOuR wRiTInG are you kidding me? i squealed at getting this notification in my inbox, tysm xx

Also your read and comment on this fic means a lot to me, I think a lot of people might be afraid to be reading and commenting on it (esp if they haven't read my previous works in the fandom) bc of starting off with dead!MJ, a very unconventional and admittedly tragic trope. That being said, I am making up for it with more alive!MJ in the rest of the series, and there's def a flashback in Act 3 that attempts to MJ's dialogue and character some justice ;)

Thank you thank you for the beautiful compliments on my series! I've poured my heart and soul into writing this universe and it pays off to share it with beautiful people like you and my other readers :3 A prosperous New Year to you! <3

      1. wHAT??? now IM SQUEALING!!!

But yeah, I noticed that not a lot of people seem to have read it, like considering how just genuinely good it is??? I’m not even just saying that to be nice, but I always get bummed out when really quality pieces of writing don’t get the recognition they deserve. I’m giving it a good rec on my tumblr bc I want people to read this.

I’m really looking forward to seeing more of how you weave MJ into the story. I also love how you’re writing Tony??? It reminds me a bit of how Kat wrote Tony in her 5+1 mental illness fic, but what I really like about Tony in yours is that even though he has the same softness and delicacy when handling Peter, he still has this small sense of very characteristic cluelessness - enough that he needs to sort of co-parent with May.

(I just... LOVE May Parker and I love love love seeing her included into the narrative.)

Anywho, I’m sorry for rambling haha. I’m just so in love whoops. I hope you have a wonderful New Year! <3
