I'm really impressed with all you've done to develop Thor's character and explore the difficult situations and choices he's faced with by being thrust into the role of king through Odin's premature death. While it's a Loki-centric story, you've really taken the time to flesh out and realize other characters, and it gives the story a lot of depth. Whenever you post, it's an absolute delight. :)
Awww, thank-you :) I don't think I could write a story of this length without also developing Thor, especially in this story, where he's about as important to the narrative as Loki. And this section about Thor's worries as king was something I added quite late (though to be fair there was a lot in this chapter that was added quite late), but I think it was one of my better ideas for this "problem" chapter, and maybe the one following it as well. I'm very glad I thought of it while I was editing, mainly because Thor's character deserves it, and also because this chapter would be quite a bit more bland without it. And thank-you for saying that I flesh out the other characters well; sometimes it's quite easy for me to fall into the cardboard-cutout characterization, especially when I'm dealing with a lot of characters, so it's nice to hear that I've managed to realize them at at least some points :)
