    Are we going to find out what it was that truly did finally drive the Bishop of Vain into the bosom of the mother Church?

    Seeing as I outlined this fic before we did Amazingness, I only now reread my concept of yore, so I surprised self with self's ideas. Let's see how much of that will make it into the final chapter.

        We do indeed. But it was so embarrassing even Alex glossed over it. He even decided that giving Athos an embarrassing son was better than telling what really happened.
