Hey! I've been working on a fic sort of loosely inspired by this one (though I cast the characters all differently) and I was going to start posting the first chapters within the next week but before I did so, I just wanted to make sure I had your blessing and that you were alright with that. (It's actually quite different from yours -- well, as different as it could be granted that we're both sort of writing from the same movie script -- but since I wouldn't have thought to write it in the first place had it not been for yours, I thought it'd be polite to ask first)
