I've had an interesting writing year. I wrote outside of my comfort zone, including alien MPreg, shapeshifters and even a vampire. All things I never would have thought I'd ever write. And I enjoyed writing each story, and am happy with the results!
Oddly enough, having Gibbs as a shapeshifter didn't occur to me until I was writing ch 15. I felt that I was missing *something* and then it hit me. I remembered having Rossi say that there were some shapeshifters who didn't realize what they were, and that I had Gibbs saying he felt energized and revitalized when he joined Tony and Derek under the light of the moon. And then it hit me. It was so obvious, so clear, that of course, Gibbs was a shapeshifter, too! It felt so perfect for the scene and a nice twist for the end. I've always loved the Chronicles of Narnia (Which is why the story had "Edmund Lake" *G*) and I always remember Tony mentioning the movie in an episode. *G*
