ooh gosh thank u for addressing how shitty luke is to nick. a lotta people are like "they're bffs !!!!!! it's jsut tough love" when really it's (probably) just internalized ableism ? w/e. point is this story is good at addressing that.

I've been super critical of how Luke treated Nick since episode 2. I wouldn't call it internalized ableism, seeing as Luke shows very little evidence of struggling with the same disability as Nick--it's just ableism. I think in his mind he MEANT well, because clearly he did care about Nick, but his intentions weren't well executed and the things he said/did ended up just having a really negative, toxic effect on Nick. It really frustrated me that we never got a chance to address this in the game, which is why I decided to have Molly be so conscious of it.
