Comment on Spite The Dying Of My Light

  1. Oooooh Geoff, he'd better hold on to what little he has that reminds him of home, because there are more bad times a-comin.

And Ryan. The Ryan that left. So while Geoff was tied to the chair he told us why Ryan loved him and Jack. Those two Gents took in The Vagabond and showed him he was worthy of good things and kindness. That all happened to this particular Ryan too. (Most of them, if not all.)
And then he went to Zancudo.
Suddenly the two people he cared about most were closer with the Lads, the Enemy, than him. And they'd had a bunch of shared experiences and fallen in love. Ryan just had to follow along and do as he was told or get killed. And then they decide to join their crews together? Without consulting him, really? That's betrayal. Was Ryan not good enough for them any more? Just because he didn't loop with them? It just happened so suddenly. So he left before they could confirm it.
And so he never even got to meet Jeremy. Maybe he knew Gus found him (let him, even) because he knew if Gus was looking for him, the Fakes were. But then he heard a bunch of stuff on the news about a Prince or something and they just. Never contacted him. So he waited. But eventually, you have to stop waiting. How's he going to feel when they come looking for him again? The crew that abandoned him.
    :) :) :)
Some extra pain just for you, Joy
