    OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE THIS SO MUCH ALREADY!!!

    I love the fact that it includes stuff from Season 3, I love the fact that Adrien goes all goo goo for Marinette. I normally don't like Ladrien as much as the other ships but you've already set it up so well!

    I think that being a friend to the person you have feelings for is so....practical? but also extremely sweet and heartwarming in this instance so I LOVE that you've put emphasis on that!

    I thought the art piece by buggachat was absolutely beautiful and I know this story is gonna do it justice.

      Adrien is still crazy about Ladybug, obviously... now more than ever. But, yes, he's starting to realize that Marinette is a _possibility_, which is a definite step forward. Whether she is Just A Friend or suddenly a potential interest for him... time will tell.

      I love playing around with the dual-identity paradigm that each kid has, as it was a major theme in my most popular stories. Both of them are going to go through a lot of soul-searching in this story because of it. For example, obviously, the Ladrien bond is going to grow considerably as this story progresses. But from her side, does she _want_ him to be Ladybug's boyfriend, or to protect/comfort him as Ladybug and shift that romantic focus to Marinette, where dating would be so much easier? If Adrien goes completely head-over-heels for Ladybug... can she resist? Should she? And what will Chat Noir think about this?

      And Adrien knows precisely who _he_ wants. Or he thinks he does, anyway. But he also knows that Ladybug has another boy whom she's interested in, and that has already caused some little rifts between her and Chat. Does he dare pursue her as himself, knowing that? But how can he _not_, if she's increasingly important in his non-feline life?

      So, yes, both kids are thinking "If this happens, I have TWO people I need to keep close to me, in BOTH of my identities. I can't lose either as a friend, they're both important to me." And figuring out how that works will be quite the dance, but I hope to pull off the feat of strengthening all four sides of the Square at once in one way or another.
