    Google translate says that your author's note is in Dutch, but it wouldn't translate over to English, so idek. I also tried a word unscrambler first before I realized that J'wf doesnt make any words in English, no matter how much I unscamble it.

          So the cipher used is called a Caesar Cipher, and it's just shifting the letters over a certain amount. A hint to solving the codes is actually in the summary of each chapter, this chapters summary being "shifted", so just shift all the letters of the code over 1
          So like for example, "J'wf " translates to the word " I've "
          You can Google a caesar cipher decoder that can translate it for you

            Yes! I was right! With me, I usually figure out what you need to do to decode it, but I won't decode it in case of spoilers (I believe it's been mentioned a lot down here in the comments). I know that's a bit odd, but I always hated spoilers (except Endgame and shows of similar scale, because that means I can spoil people I don't like)

              The codes are not so much spoilers, and more so extra tidbits, I guess you could liken them to end credit scenes, not exactly part of the plot, just additional information to give you context for later chapters
