    Up on the 26th, just as promised! I think this chapter is a fine length and I'm glad you separated it from the last one.

    It's sorta depressing seeing how happy Loki is with his new role, but remembering all the bad stuff he's been through, how he he's had to live with the memories of torture every day for over a year, it's hard not to be relieved that he's free of that now (only to be imprisoned by something else, but still...)

    It's cool seeing Darcy actually focused and serious about something for once. I hope that she is able to reunite with her friends after all this.

    Very curious to see what decision the Avengers make next, and if a big battle is on the horizon.

      Well, I had it ready by the 25th but figured lots of people would be busy with Christmas. I'm glad I divvied up this chapter as well, because between the two halves, it would have taken me forever to edit and I probably would've done a shoddier job on both. I'm glad you found time to comment on your vacation, though!

      Loki's new role is meant to depressing, especially how pleased he is with it; he's just so happy about being happy, except the happiness is only because his mind is all twisted up in a different way. He just can't catch a break :(

      There's a time for fun and a time for focus, and when all of Darcy's friends are missing/possibly kidnapped by SHIELD, she's going to bulldoze forward until they're safe. Or someone else has found a way to get them safe.

      And I can't tell you any more about their plans but it's all coming up soon-ish :)
