    I don't understand. If Ruby really wanna leave the show, she could've just quit right then and there. Great chapter. Can't wait for more.

      There are two reasons why Ruby can't quit here (which I probably didn't make clear enough):

      Reason Number One: Chris won't accept it. In the first chapter, Ruby wants to go home, but Chris doesn't let her. Although it's never explicitly stated (and again, this is my fault for not making it clear), Chris won't allow anyone to quit the game this season. Therefore, if Ruby is going to leave the island, she either has to lose an elimination challenge or get the votes necessary to get kicked out (which she hasn't been able to do despite making it clear she wants to leave).

      Reason Number Two: Right now (as in, only at this moment in time), she is whacked out on painkillers...which is also why her vote went to Steve tonight.
