    Aha wear your preferences with pride, I say, especially when it concerns Reeve! :D Oh yes, I also have a soft spot for incorporating Inspire into things - it is too good an ability to let languish in the mire of popular editing. I've been very struck with how you've utilised it in your story - it's lovely... almost like the antithesis of hearing the planet, yet drawing from that same source and with a comparable pure intensity. At least that's how I read it :)

      I cannot even begin to explain to you how thrilled I am to hear you describe it that way. From the first time I heard the description of the ability, my immediate idea was, "So... Inspires are like Cetra for the mechanical age? Aerith is the old and Reeve is the new?" And ever since, I'm tried to portray it as a sort of counterpoint state.

      Sadly to say, most of my Reeve fic tends to be on a heavily fangirlish slant to pairing him with Rufus (another favorite character) or having him pine over a Tseng who views him with the same sense that he viewed Veld. Or angsting over the fact that he knows full well where Veld and the other Turks are, and he can't say a word about it to anyone. So I don't post most of it. I am endeavoring to change that and post more Reeve fics, because Reeve has been one of my very favorite characters since my first play through of FF7 and he simply doesn't get enough love.

        Oh! Y'see this is what I love about fandom! :D I see where you are coming from completely, and I'm glad you are thrilled~ I've always been fascinated by Ruvi's love of flowers / trying to plant them in Sector 5 - then you have her son and wham, Inspire!

          HAH. I finished up chapter four today just because you asked me to. Still haven't decided on a POV for chapter five, although I know the POV's I'm going to use for the rest of the chapters. >.> If only chapter five were cooperating with me.

          Also, you should totally IM me. Or... something. I'm always up to talk and/or exchange various fannish slants. ^^ I'm Traxits on pretty much everything (AIM, DW).

          EDIT: I'm a total creeper and I scared you away. T_T I'm sorry! I'll hush and let you enjoy the story. I even uploaded another chapter as part of my apology.

            Oh now, don't be silly! It's all my fault - I'm rather terrible at keeping up with things online at the moment. I've been trying to get back into writing and have been a bit busy with lifey things too so not been around - so sorry for not responding earlier!!
