Yes, I've been really blessed in that my parents always prioritized my education, so I've had so many amazing opportunities in my relatively short life. Getting to go to school in China for a few months was really fantastic, and I'm very grateful to my parents for making studying abroad happen (not just once but thrice). I wish I had had the time to continue studying Chinese after I came back from study abroad, but I couldn't fit Spanish, Japanese, AND Chinese into my schedule every trimester and still take other classes required to graduate. ^.^; It's just like how I couldn't take Latin on top of Spanish and French in high school because I didn't have a free exam block for it. :/
Anyway! I'm glad this chapter was reassuring that the relationship would maybe get off the ground. I know things between the two of them have been rocky this entire story. Thanks for reading!
