    And... I did not know about this Catherine thing???? What is this?? I don't like it, take it back. I'm not going to answer yes or no on the Shelia arc, because I want everyone to be on the edge of their seats on whether I'm running down the Jason death arc. 😊 But I promise I'm not doing something stupid like Catherine faked her death. Drama for the sake of drama is dumb and I hate it.

      Yeah Rebirth and reboot got rid of the "Catharine was his adopted mom," story line and both instead went with "Willis was her dealer and got her preggers as a teen." You know. Like the worse. Then added that whole "JOKER PLANNED THIS SINCE THE BEGINNING (Like what?), and helped relocate Catharine after faking her own death, and then betrayed Jason later when he went to find her. "

      It was a mess.

      Can't say for sure for rebirth because I have not caught up yet, but Catherine was his mom and had him in a tub with Willis' help, and they might have forgone the mother angle entirely and just killed him for "disobeying orders."
      Do not quote me on that one! (I gotta check my sorces).

      Jason seriously has a "pick your own mom," kind of aspect to his life... I personally decided to pick Shiva.

      In short canon is a mess and anything and Jason is literally a "pick your own backstory" kind of guy now.

        yeah, in rebirth joker was all like " I MADE YOUUU" i find that to be a load of bull. i remember reading the first rhato rebirth issue and.just mentally going "whatthrfuckwhatthefuck"
