You got exactly what I was trying to get across with the differences between the two Jemmas. The one in this universe has a more ordinary life. She and the people she loves aren't being constantly threatened, but that doesn't mean it's been easy for her. She's trying to live the life that's expected of her, be the good daughter, the good girlfriend/fiancé (Colin may not be as much of an asshole as Fitz made him out to be, but her heart knows he's not the one). She couldn't help but feel like something was missing. And that something might have just landed on her doorstep. :D Even if he is taken, she's still a caring person and she's going to do whatever it takes to get him home to his Jemma. And of course it hurts Fitz that he can't reciprocate, but he might have just found the perfect solution to more than one problem.
Speaking of which, we'll find out what this world's Fitz has been up to in the next chapter! Hope you continue to enjoy. :D
