    Thanks you so much! I lowkey regret starting, this fic just because lucky/unlucky superstitions are so complicated when your taking a wholistic approach. I had to do a good amount of research just for the first couple of chapters so that I knew how to set up the basics and knew what common superstitions would be the most prominently used. So don’t except everything under the sun to be accounted for but I’ll do what I can. Thank you for the 666 lore btw, I didn’t know that ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

    This Izuku will be kinda sorta goth, in that his mom interests are definitely aligned with the goth subculture but he tries not to show that most of the time. I personally don’t know much about goth also, so I’m probably going to try to keep that aspect of it very basic so that I don’t mess it up...

    I also love shinsou/izuku, they deserve more love, and I feel like this kind of set up works perfectly with their pairing. I also feel like this isn’t a very conventional depiction of them, because they will have to deal with that co-dependency that shinsou accidently created in the process of trying to get Izuku to not be suicidal. I hope that makes the process relationship more dynamic (･ω<)☆

      if i may slide in here for a few seconds.
      As a person who is very deep into the different aesthetics of goth/unusual fashion, i may point you to the Nu-goth and dark mori style of clothing for a possible look for Izuku. Nu-goth is very much a mix of casual goth, grunge and a pinch of hipster (nu goth also is very much inspired by the occult and symbols), while dark mori is more loose fabrics and comfortable clothes that came out of a dark fantasy but more casual, which could match izuku's comfort aesthetic.
      I'm not saying you need to be specific, but i'm just putting the info here if you want it.

        Thank you! This is helpful for thinking of what kind of casual clothes he would wear. It probably won’t come up a lot cause most of the time he’ll be in either his school uniform or his hero costume (and his costume is more of a specific theme than it is goth), but there will be some instances later when I’d need to figure out what he’d wear outside of class. Having specific types of gothic designs to go off of will be helpful :)
