    Omg I love this au so much!!! I loved the little flash we got of Jason’s tragic backstory, especially the little detail of him laughing at the sight of sheila being killed right before he himself died, because, while I feel like it was implied that that little moment was caused by the joker’s demonic influence, I kinda really like the idea that it was 100% all jason, hurt and dying and laughing with his last few breaths in vindictive pleasure at seeing the person who did this to him torn apart before his eyes because of her own actions, because that sort of thing, a dying boy using his last breaths to laugh at someone else’s pain, is totally the sort of thing that would catch the joker’s attention, and I’m having so much fun fantasizing about this au, and all the potential jason angst that would come along with having caught the eye of a demon like the joker XD

      Actually I feel it was mostly Jason too! For all of those exact reasons! Like maybe it was a 90/10% split. He’s a little affected just by being in proximity to a chaos demon, but that’s just feeding off what he already feels and exacerbates it.

      This AU was so fun to craft. I did a ton of “behind the scenes” world building that never really makes its way onto the page. I’d love to play with it again, show it off a little more. But for now I’m drained of ideas.
