    Sorry for the long wait, it was a very busy Summer. I'm hoping to release chapters at a more frequent pace for the forseeable future.

    Haha, I did consider introducing Kain in the story at one point but decided it wasn't his time ... yet.
    So, yeah, you had a good call there.
    There are a lot - and I mean, A LOT - of Final Fantasy characters to include in the story, so you never know who might appear next. ;P
