The similarities between Tzuyu and Chaeyoung's characters are so interesting. They both feel like they don't meet the expectations of their parents, but they approach it so differently. I wish Tzuyu could be more honest with her feelings instead of putting up walls, but I understand why she does so. Being honest means making yourself vulnerable, and being vulnerable allows people to hurt you. She's faced enough pain.
Also, these lines really hurt me. This is what I was screaming at you about that whole time lol
"She likes Chaeyoung more than me.
She’ll always choose Chaeyoung over me.
She doesn’t need me anymore."
IT HURTS GODDAMMIT. THAT FEELING OF INSECURITY THAT YOU'LL NEVER BE ANYONE'S FIRST CHOICE AS A FRIEND OR WHETHER THEY EVEN TRULY CONSIDER YOU THEIR FRIEND TO BEGIN WITH?? THAT SHIT HURTS. YOU SAID THIS CHAPTER WASN'T EVEN ANGSTY BUT I ALMOST SCREAMED ON A PLANE AFTER READING THOSE LINES.
Anyway, amazing writing and well done as always. You know I love you and Mia's writing to the ends of the earth, so I'm looking forward to you hurting me more.
