    Thank you for writing this! I’ve honestly been rather tired of the popular world view that Orion and Walburga are these horrible one dimensional people because that’s unrealistic. It’s nice to see Orion and Walburga acting vulnerable and hurt and human in this fic and how you can see how much Sirius leaving affected them.
    Druella both irritated and amused me. You can tell she doesn’t really care too much about what’s happening but her overdramatic theatrics made me laugh a bit as did this line “ “Her sister-in-law that she doesn’t despise, dear,” Lucretia clarified.”
    Lucy comforting Burgie was so sweet and well done. Sometimes you just need your cousin/sister in law/ best friend to break into your bedroom via a fireplace and give you a hug and some much needed hope.
    And because I’m a sucker for happy endings, I’ll just have the Black family get Sirius back and everyone makes up and they live in peace and there will be no mention of scary caves or Azkaban.
