    I always liked the reincarnation idea, because it gave a fresh start while still keeping a chance to grow from what you used to be.

    Everyone only getting one chance to live and then passing eternity with no change of living environment seemed wasteful to me, especially considering how many places and events on Earth could be considered purgatory or hellish without the need for a separate world to punish people.
