This is so good! All of the Scavengers' human versions are really creative and very fitting! I love the way you write the Scavengers' group dynamic. Constant bickering but with an undercurrent that they really care about each other. Getting together for a friend's funeral is always rough, but it helps that they have each other. I love Misfire fretting over what to wear. He's getting so upset and Fulcrum swoops in, ties his tie, and knows exactly what to say.
He came back around the front and collared Misfire with the bow tie. ‘Flywheels would have cared that you’re coming along even though you hate all that religious stuff, that you’re healthy and sober, that you care enough about his wake that you’re worried you’ll upset the other people there, even though you won’t’.
The B&B owner didn't know what she was getting into though! I love Spin showing up late a night after everything is over and still causing a scene.
