So much happening this chapter! But it was great. Glad Laurel called Watson on some of her excuses and crap, and that Watson actually owned up to it. Too bad Smythe got too hotheaded and came to kill her. I have a feeling that's going to be part of what leads to Brickwell's "fall" as you put it, and he will be none too pleased about that.
Dang it, Felicity, you had one job! Don't make it about you for five seconds so that John could get through to Oliver via his family - but no dice, she could never settle for just sitting there without any attention on her. Hopefully Laurel can focus on her husband once she's sure she, Thea and her son are safe from Brick.
Really great work and I can't wait to see how it all comes to a close.
Yeah, Laurel really called out a lot of Watson's excuses. I think it shows both her skill as a lawyer to break those arguments, as well as how much she is just done with this Brick situation.
Smythe with certainly play a role in Brick's fall, but it may be her undoing as well.
lol. I thought that you would like it, and be frustrated with that scene.
Yep, Laurel has to compartmentalize, something she can be very good at when she is in the field. First, protect Connor and Thea from Brick, then think about Ollie.
