    Okay so, I'm bored and have 2 hours and 10 minutes until I'm making lemon bars over VC so I'll delve into this:
    (First, any mention of the word "relationship" is entirely platonic. I'm just making it clear that I'm not tryna ship anyone...that's just the best word to use here. Irl shipping is gross lmao)
    (Second...uh, if you didn't mean for me to get the impressions I got, feel free to ignore. I'm just having fun haha)
    1. Schlatt and Charlie's relationship: It feels like there's some tension there. Like, beyond the obvious. They're friends, and do things for each other (Schlatt agreeing to see someone he has a grudge over, Charlie following and trusting Schlatt[to a point]) but it's almost running through the motions. Charlie is angry and tired of Schlatt in some ways - probably relating to the apartment burning and the "wimping out" at the gas station - and Schlatt, although he enjoys Charlie's company, mentions how he would be willing to leave Charlie behind at the first sign of a better way to get his bridge back.
    Also, like, Schlatt's a demon, and Charlie's just a guy. It's already come up how they have different ways of thinking (Schlatt is bewildered by Charlie still being sad over his apartment burning down) so I'm wondering if that'll come up again.
    As it stands, I think that they like each other, but it's a tenuous relationship right now. I'm kind of excited to see how this'll evolve tbh. Will they get into a fight? A classic act 3 breakup to a reconciliation at the end? Or will they just work it out near the middle because they need to band together? Or maybe something else? Idk I'm just a reader

Foreshadowing not directly related to how the two interact(I've never watched buzzfeed unsolved so dont come at me): Something burned down Charlie's apartment, and for some reason he's traveling with a demon to get the demon's bridge back. Also, he has amnesia. Did he forget what burned his house down? Or did he forget a lot of things? Why are they travelling together when Schlatt admits that he doesn't have a high expectation of the things Charlie can do?

      Dude I do not /mind/ the essay I am in /love/ with the essay, real talk-

      Obviously there’s not a lot I’m gonna say because I want to keep revealing stuff through the story, but holy shit man this made my day. I'd be writing a longer response right now if I wasn’t in shock pff-

      The impressions you got were definitely a lot of what I was going for, so I’m honestly relieved it translated that way. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to write this up (also, lemon bars??) and for reading in general! This was fantastic
