Finally had time to read this and whoo! So much went on. Brian moving into Carter's mansion and then him telling him why he made some of the choices he made with helping Carter destroy Orejuela and his gang. The back story with his first partner I wanted to cry and him explaining why he let Dom and the team go, aaawwwww. And Carter totally telling Bri he loved him after he got done with his stories. Can't wait to see where you go with Monica as a waitress at the Pearl and where you'll take Brian and Carter. Loved the chapter. :) Hugs and cookies sent your way.
I know! When I came up with the concept to explain why Brian would help Carter with Orejuela (specifically the torture part), I was like "wow. That was, uhh, somethin'." Just wanna give Bri a big hug! Good thing Carter did it for me. :)
