    I’ve spent a lot of time fooling around with Wind Waker, and I’ve noticed that the Bokoblins are fairly chill, all things considered. Although they don’t have nearly the same level of AI as the Bokoblins in Breath of the Wild, they seem to lead their own lives when they’re not chasing after Link. The level of technology they employ is equal (if not superior) to that of the remaining Hylians, and they seem to have their own spoken and written language as well. In my mind, the Bokoblins are just as much of a civilized “race” as the Rito or the Gorons; and, based on the fact that few people on the Great Sea (except Link) seem to carry a weapon, Bokoblins probably aren’t aggressive toward most sailors.

    It’s interesting to think about, in any case.
