    Your Zuko made a fool out of Ozai. And Azula. And all the firebending instructors. Oh, and Uncle too. It seems to be a common trope in better fics that while Zuko is a terrible liar, he is an exceptional actor.

    And, for what its worth, your version of Zuko doesn't feel too OOC. Maybe because the premise of the story makes the differences from canon!Zuko look natural.
