    it's so great to see you write ushijima as a "chaebol" son bc i've personally always thought he'd come from an traditional, old money family bc of the exact same reasons you wrote :D and you make it so interesting and ushijima's house sounds so beautiful too aaaaaa i just rlly love this!! and reader's reaction to those shitty things the managers said ..... i personally would have made fun of them for being so desperate and insecure that they have to put me down to make thenselves feel better even tho they prolly could and would beat me up just bc i'm petty like that -- but reader's reaction was much more appropriate and mature :') besides that, i'm loving all the interactions with the vbc so far and i hope to see more of the discipline committee and student council just bc they're all soo cute hhhhhh <33 so excited for the next chapter and i'm rlly sorry this comment is too long lolol anyways have a good day / night / whatever time you read this!!

      yes yes i’ve been a staunch “ushiwaka is actually a rich boy” supporter; i don’t think it was exactly apparent in the canon manga but WOW to have your son-in-law plead in front of you like that? especially in a very patriarchal society like japan? i think that made a huge statement about the class difference between his mom and dad...
