    Ah we have some Rhyme screen time (I noticed we haven’t seen Beat yet... hmm or Joshua but I’m sure it’s intentional for him).

    And I have to say... thANK YOU FOR CHANGING THE HIDEOUT OH MY GOD!

    Seriously, how on earth did they think that a public place, with MANY people around would be a good spot to discuss PT stuff?? No wonder Makoto caught them...

    Speaking of Makoto, I wonder if she’s gonna catch them this time since Rhyme warned Akira. I guess I’ll have to see.

    As for he donation thing last chapter, I would donate, but I’m flat broke. I will donate when I get the chance though.

    And yeah, Neku isn’t going to be telling them stuff very easily because he doesn’t want Joshua to shoot him. For a third time.

    Wouldn’t it be interesting if one of the PTs is in the scramble crossing (or looking out the hideout window) and suddenly ask, “is there someone on top of the 104 building?”

    I’m also somewhat surprised Hanekoma hasn’t been mentioned yet.

    Before I read this chapter I had a splitting headache and it was just gone when I read this only to come back immediately after. Great chapter! I already look forward to the ones coming after this.

      theres an in-universe reason we haven’t seen joshua yet, but beat is simply because i had trouble writing him. i love beat he’s one of my faves, but there’s a few i noticed the game does with his dialogue specifically to make him seem “dumber” that i decided i didn’t want any part of. you’ll see him soon.

        So I reread this (which I do about 5 times a week I swear—) and noticed the remark about Rhyme having a haunted look on her face. I don’t know why but I’m all for slightly traumatized TWEWY gang. They all went through some fucked up shit. Neku especially.

        It’s 2AM and I suddenly came up with a head canon that Neku blames himself for Sota and Nao’s death (the only other shown pair during Week 2 who died on Day 6(?). How dare Square Enix kill them off. I love them.) regardless of Sota saying that it wasn’t his fault.

        I seriously need to stop rereading this on the daily. It’s all I do anymore. Read this story, other fanfiction, and play Mabinogi. Someone stop me.

          and yeah the whole gang quite literally went through hell so to say they’re all slightly traumatized is an understatement. like they’ve all got trauma but in various ways, that might not make sense to some people. and your hc is super big brained. like out of the two of us you have the highest iq and i love it. like, it makes sense?? so much sense??? i love it a lot.

            Feel free to steal that head canon. It will make me feel better about not having falling asleep.

            Also there’s a rumor about TWEWY stuff being announced soon because of Animex (I think that’s what the thing is called) releasing a TWEWY photo or something.

            I can’t remember probably though as I’m at the “Time is figment of my imagination” stage of loopiness and I’ve missplelled about 20 words typing this.

              also yeah i’m pretty excited about all this twewy anime stuff. (fingers crossed they keep the art style for the anime otherwise whats the damn point) theres an official website for the anime thats all like “you have 7 days” with a countdown timer that hasn’t started and all that so theres probably gonna be more info later.
