    Krem was being teasing/sarcastic.

    As for Cole, I like to imagine him kind of like Lassie in this situation, where he shows up to tell them something desperately important they need to know and all that comes out is barking and they're like, "What is it, Lassie? A squirrel in the yard?" And he's like, "No, you idiots, Hal stabbed Cullen!" But they just don't get it.

    It's hard to be Cole.

      I know this is some months old, but I just have to say I went from on the edge of my seat reading this chapter to choking on my drink at this comment. The easiest hit of the subscribe button for me ever.
