    Oh my god I died when I realized Rinzler was nonchalantly using Sam as a tap! But aaahhhhh I love how you balance his alien behaviour and authority with glimpses of a fondness for Sam, and trust in his abilities. My fingers are crossed so hard for them!

      Yeah, Rinzler is pretty practical about stuff. He's really confused about Sam's complete bafflement over Grid Things, considering how much time Flynn had spent with Sam back in the day before the coup. He doesn't quite get how Users age. That'll be an eye opener later on. We're getting close! (SPOILERS COMING AFTER THIS)

      Their relationship will be interesting. Life in our world is confusing enough for those of us who grew up in it, imagine if you'd been somewhere that HAD set rules that had to be followed, and then you come to our world and it's like, "laws! But if someone doesn't see you break them, well..."

      I think Rinzler is going to end up studying physics if only to have something to hold onto. That's going to be interesting.
