Putting Ben (Oops, I mean Benjamin) in a safe house was too funny, even though he is driving himself crazy even more in isolation. That said, Harvey is a bit scary so I do see the need for the precaution until he calms down his diabolical plotting. I am still loving Harold and Greg. Very cute!
And oh my God! I feel so close to you now. We share so many OTPs. I have a deep love of Steve and Danny especially. Maybe the Hawaiian people will throw a parade in their honor!
The dirty talking conversation that led to all kinds of fluffy feelings was particularly fun yet again. Great chapter.
I like to include a lot of characters when the story is long and has enough room to breathe. That's why pretty much everyone on the show who works at Pearson-Hardman appeared here. I guess I like that "one big family" feeling of the show XD It was just convenient that a fan club by default needs a lot of members, so I could put tons of people in there, haha.
Oh, you like McDanno too? =D I actually have a Suits/H5O story started that I'm aching to finish. I had a bad writer's block for months and only got out of it last week, so there's a lot of stuff I have to take care of. Hopefully I'll tackle that fic sometime this month. I think I enjoy shipping Marvey and McDanno so much because of their funny and yet affectionate banter. Their conversations are the best!
I think witty banter is the basis of my fanfic crushes too. It helps the story flow and can really make a great writer shine when done correctly. You do this exceptionally well, and not just with the main story characters either. I would love to read a McDanno/Marvey crossover explosion of awesome. Wow, just the possibilities of that are terrific. If you don't mind my asking, what is the premise of the crossover?
I have one I was debating about finishing as a crossover between Suits and White Collar. Are you familiar with that show? It would be at most three or four chapters and concentrates heavily on Harvey getting jealous of Mike hanging out with Neal. I just couldn't come up with a story arc past the interaction of the main pairing. I need a side note of villain for the set-up to flow.
The way I have it written is that Peter, who knows Harvey from his days in the DA's office, brings Neal to Pearson Hardman to ask for a little legal leverage for Mozzie, who is being bullied by some corporation/powerful guy with a grudge against him. Neal and Mike hit it off right away, both being talented beautiful blue-eyed geniuses, and Peter sees Harvey getting increasingly bothered by their interaction. After confirming his theory of Harvey's interest in his associate with Elizabeth after having Mike and Harvey over for dinner, they set out to get Harvey to make a move on Mike by using Neal to tempt the closer's possessive behavior. Much in the fashion of your club inciting Harvey with Mike and Lex at the party, except Neal and Mike are not aware of the plot, it ends happily with big fluffy declarations after there is a scare (physical or just professional) due to the client they were fighting on Mozzie's behalf. What do you think? I have the first chapter written and an outline for the rest.
Of course I don't mind talking about the crossover fic :D Marvey fly to Hawaii for a case and try to enjoy a bit of free time on the island. Meanwhile, Danny, Harvey's friend from back when he used to work for the D.A's office, thinks that this is his shot to get Marvey together. He doesn't believe that Harvey will come across a human being more patient and accepting than Mike. His boyfriend Steve's his partner in crime and hopefully, hilarity ensues.
Yes, I'm not only familiar with "White Collar" but also have a Suits/WC crossover fic posted here XD We really do watch a lot of the same shows! How exciting! I haven't updated that story in ages, but I only have 2~3 chapters left so I'll be sure to finish it in the near future.
Oh, you write fics too! *fist bumps* What a delightful surprise! I'm overly fond of a jealous Harvey so I hope you'll keep writing that story :D I think the plot's solid and straightforward so hopefully, you shouldn't have too many problems with the details. It sounds totally plausible and fun; the type of story readers from both shows would enjoy :) Good luck with it!
