    What an incredibly eerie image. As if the eye is the closest thing to a real definition that this spirit has.

    1. Very glad you've enjoyed the story thus far. That section is a bit referential to Alice in Wonderland - but rather than a smile, it's Mu's eye that defines him. :)

      As for "You're nearly there, but only near enough to be far away, more's the pity. Perhaps you need a lead."

      It's Mu being Cryptic Cat. Mu likes sounding profound (because he is, dangit!).

      1. I should have mentioned Alice in Wonderland. :) I did catch that reference. The Cheshire Cat is defined by his grin. Mu is defined by... his all seeing ability? His closeness to 0?
