      I mean... he's not NOT taking notes ;)

      (Fun fact, he paid close attention to how Sam's mother interacted with him on Diego Garcia, a fact that he has used to his full advantage. For example, the LOOK he gave Sam when he was pestering him to go back to his apartment after his seizure. Yeah, that was all Judith Witwicky.)
